  Foothills Amish Furniture is one of the few places in the area where one can find excellently crafted yet reasonably priced furniture. Matt Troyer is a very knowledgeable about his products and he is truly a wonderful person to work with. He's not just a salesman, but has become a friend. My husband and I have purchased all of our dining room and bedroom furniture from Matt. In fact, our bed is the most comfortable, sturdy bed we have ever had; it's hard to leave it in the morning!
  We have also had some pieces custom built from sketches we gave him and are most pleased with the results.

  In the spring of last year, we were in the market for outdoor furniture to be used on our newly built deck. We were planning to have our son's High School graduation party on the deck, and wanted nice furniture for our guests to enjoy.
We looked at some stores, and on-line, and then decided to go to a local store in Landrum, SC. We were very impressed with the store, Foothills Amish Furniture. The owner of the store, Matt Troyer was very helpful, patient, and answered all of our questions. We even returned with several family members to get their opinion on just what furniture we should order. We placed an order for a large table, 6 classic bench dining chairs, a glider, table, and a swing
for under the deck. The furniture arrived quickly and was delivered and set up by the store employees. We were very pleased to be able to have our family; friends and neighbors come enjoy our party on our new deck with our lovely new outdoor furniture.
  Our buying experience with Foothills Amish Furniture was wonderful! It is so nice to be able to find American made quality products available at a "local" store. Purchased OUTDOOR FURNITURE
  We had seen Amish outdoor furniture which had been purchased in Pennsylvania and we were very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the material. However, we didn’t want to travel to Pennsylvania or Ohio to buy the furniture we wanted. Then, we heard about Foothills Amish Furniture in Landrum, SC. We found what we were looking for there. Also, the owners were very nice and easy to work with. We have been very pleased with the pieces we purchased.   Hello, I was fortunate to be visiting family in Grambling, SC back in October 2010. It was decided to go visit Landrum Foothills Amish Furniture store and there was the wonderful "Matt". I immediately feel in love with all the beautiful furniture in this cozy warm friendly environment. The quality of master piece craftsmanship of the Amish furniture!!! I wound up purchasing a very unique swivel glider rocker. I live in Oklahoma City and Matt was so awesome in working with me financially to be able to purchase. In five weeks my very special rocker made it safely, flawless by wonderful delivery people. I am so impressed with my experience with Matt we have plans to purchase bedroom furniture set with him as well. Pleasant Surprise
       My husband and I recently discovered Foothills Amish Furniture in Landrum, SC.  We walked in the door and were delighted to see such beautiful furniture and a helpful and knowledgeable staff.  After purchasing several pieces of family room furniture, we were given a date when it would be delivered. Carl and his helpers arrived on time and they placed the furniture where we wanted it and removed the old furniture.  Not only the quality of the furniture but the desire to please the customer made this a wonderful shopping experience and we are delighted with our purchase.
       Since the initial purchase that we made, we have returned to buy additional pieces and will continue to shop at Foothills Amish Furniture.  Matt and Beth Troyer and staff were a real joy to work with.

Custom Bedroom Suite and Dining Room
When Foothills Amish Furniture first opened in Landrum my husband and I stopped by to look at their furniture because we had begun construction of a guest house for our property in Gillette Woods in Tryon and needed to purchase some pieces for  it. By the time our project was almost completed, the store had moved to its present corner location with much better floor displays and many new selections of beautiful furniture.  We orderd a complete bedroom suite (including mattresses), a breakfast table and chairs and a few other pieces of their "mission" style furniture.  Working with Matt and his assistant was a great experience in shopping.  They helped us pick out the exact style, the wood type and color of stain that we had wanted.  The custom-made pieces were delivered a few months later just in time for our corporate reolcation to Montreal, Canada with my husband's company.  The first two years of owning this furniture we used it in our condo in Montreal rather than in the guest house.  We slept better than we had in years in a bed we had thought would only be for guests!  We enjoyed showing off the pieces to our Canadian friends and neighbors, who are less familiar with this style.  And now, it all rests comfortably in the guest house that remained empty during our time up north.  Except for the breakfast table and chairs.  We liked them so much that we continue to use them in our breakfast room and the old stuff is in the guest house!

The Workmanship is Outstanding

Exceptional Service and Delivery
  We received our reclining loveseat last week (ahead of when it was promised), and I was amazed at both the beauty of the workmanship, the weight of the loveseat, and the kind service of Gary and David! They carried the loveseat up stairs and into our house; and since it was so heavy, I told them just to put it by the front door. They asked where it was supposed to go. I said "to our bedroom, but it's hard to get it there." They said, "Just go in front of us and show us the way!" I did, and they got it positioned and set up right where we wanted it!   What initially caught our attention at Foothills Amish Furniture was the quality of their product line. The workmanship of the solid oak furniture attests to the pride and care taken in creating them. It is not easy finding this level of workmanship, lasting quality and beauty, and fair prices.

Swivel Rocker Chair
  I LOVE my new swivel rocking chair, I was in town visiting family and came upon your store. WOW I was blown away by the craftsmanship and beauty of your items, I have always wanted a rocking chair like the one I purchased and working with Matt long distance has been so easy.

Delivery, Setup and Service was Great
   We purchased two beds from Foothills Amish Furniture and decided to try their mattresses. It was a good decision since the mattresses are high quality and very comfortable. They were delivered, setup, and the service was great. We will purchase from them again, Great people!
